Back in the year 2000 The Home of Guinness opened it’s doors to visitors after a major renovation project. 15 years since we are treated with a major celebration – 15 year Birthday – with a bang. There was a show, there was yummy food, snacks, wine champagne and of course Guinness. Lots of Guinness. It was all glam and fabulous throughout the night. Guests were really well looked after.
The efforts to create a major Dublin landmark gave fruitful results – we now proudly have Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction in the World Travel Awards as voted in September this year. Over 14 million people have visited the Storehouse since it has opened.
What I really like about Guinness in general – they constantly innovate to ensure their customers have the best experience. This comes down not only to the visitor center, where a new Instagram wall is now installed, but also to the beer itself (I’ve written before about the new cool place they are opening – The Open Gate Brewery).
So if you around, drop by – there is plenty to learn and see. I personally love the advertising exhibition. Just look at this fish:
And now here are some photos and videos from the celebration night
